AkliluAklilu Abraham Adeye attended Northwestern University and studied political science with emphasis on comparative politics. His research project focuses on a comparative analysis of problems of state making, ethnic federalism, democratization and institutional reforms in Ethiopia. He was a Lecturer of political science at Addis Ababa University until he moved to the US in 2001. He is currently a program director at the Ethiopian Community Association of Chicago.

defaultPhotoSza Sza Zelleke is Company Director of a PVO dedicated to providing information and research support to organizations focusing on issues that affect Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities as well organizations working with Refugee and Asylum Seekers in the United Kingdom.  Prior to this, Ms. Zelleke has worked as an Information Officer, Head of Documentation Unit, Research/ Reports Officer for the United Nations working in high-risk, conflict and post conflict areas on emergency projects for displaced and vulnerable people in Somalia, Kenya, Southern Sudan, and Ethiopia. 

Ms. Zelleke received her early education in Nigeria, Uganda, Congo and Ethiopia. She then attended boarding school in the UK following the Ethiopian Revolution when her family was forced into exile. Ms. Zelleke has also worked as Resource Centre Manager for the UK Overseas Development Institute’s pioneering project in Malawi, the ODI-ALNAP Learning Support Office for Malawi. Other jobs in the Southern Africa region include humanitarian work among urban poor in Katatura, Namibia and Harare, Zimbabwe.
